A little Reminder

This week, I seem to need an extra boost.

Between being sick, having doubt, worry...there just seems to be a 

rain cloud over my head, even though the sun is finally shinning.

Weekend in Review

Oh, so thankful for my sweet husband

who told me to sleep in as late as I want over the weekend.

And I did!!

I did not get out of bed before 11 on Saturday or Sunday.

Saturday was a lazy day.
Although, I did get 2 loads of laundry done.
I spent the morning reading the magazines that I've not had time to read,
caught up on my correspondence, and watched the Housewives of Everywhere.
I did it all while listening to my favorite sound...
the sound of my husband and son playing.

Sunday, was a particularly nasty day.

Cold & Rainy

I spent the majority of the morning trying to get over a severe migraine.

Gosh, those suck!

Then, decided we all needed to get out of the house,

so we headed on a road-trip to Rocky Mount, NC.

There isn't much there besides a fun museum.

T had a blast!!

T and I have been struck with the stomach bug.

Belted Perfection

Spring is Here & I'm lovin' all the new, fun fashions!

It's no secret that I am obsessed with belts 

they complete the look with pants, shorts, skirts, dresses.

It's a rare day that I don't have a belt on.

I have been coveting the logo Hermes belt for some time now.

But, who needs a "H" when you can have your own initial?

Touch of Turquoise

So, my girls' trip to Raleigh this past weekend

lead to me coming home with 2 new turquoise necklaces.

I was so excited to get in my closet and organize it for my new goodies,

when I realized I may have an obsession with turquoise.

I have close to 20 different turq necklaces, and a wish list for more.

 I think turquoise is the perfect accent to a multitude of styles.

I love it with outfits of blues, greens, pinks, oranges, reds, yellows, blacks.

And, it makes a fun accent to home decor as well.
